HAPPY BIRTHDAY CODY!!!!
The present Danny had intended to give Cody for her birthday, he had shown his usual impatience and impulsive nature and had given it to her one his own birthday. It was an exact copy of the pendant she had taken from her during her captivity.

Not that it didn't stop him from planning something for her birthday now it had actually arrived.

With Lars' assistance, so that no one else (i.e. MacDonald) would disturb his plans, he arrived at the palace and changed into the costume that he'd procured. Back on Earth there had been the phenomenon of the singing telegram at birthday parties, and Daniel thought it would be fun to recreate that...in private, of course.

So, with Lars making sure that no one else was around Cody's suite, Dan pressed the comm button. In one hand, he held a heart-shaped box of Venusian chocolates -- the decadence and sweetness of which far surpassed that of Swiss chocolates -- on that box sat a rare teddy bear, made in early twentieth century Earth that had somehow been preserved and saved, and he had discovered and purchased at no little expense. In his other hand was a small box, gift wrapped with a bow that dwarfed it.

As for himself, he wore only a loin cloth and his pendant.

Hsu wasn't much for birthdays, and Cody hadn't seen Roma for a couple of days. So she was spending a quiet evening in her suite, dressed in a pair of cargo shorts and a yellow tank top. When her comm bell went off, Cody put down the remote to her TV, and walked over to open the door.

When she saw Danny there, her eyes went down...then up...then down. So much eye candy, and she had no idea where to look, because everything was so eye-catching. Her brow was lifted and she was grinning, obviously amused. But then she realized where they were, and who might be passing by. Even if Hsu or Andy didn't see him, servants might, and the gossip would not be good.

"Are you crazy? Come in here!" Cody grabbed his arm and yanked him inside, closing and locking the door. Once they were safe, she walked around him, really getting a good look. "Wow...Danny...this is..." It was rare that Cody Jean Lane was rendered speechless, but Daniel had managed it. However, her eyes showed her delight, and a lot more.

Danny grinned, just eating up how Cody was looking at him. Yes, he knew he had a body to turn eyes, but it was this pair of brown eyes that mattered. To know he had that effect on her warmed him. As she dragged him inside, he laughed. "It's okay. Lars is keeping a lookout."

However, it was Cody's stunned silence that pleased him, happy to have surprised her totally. "What? You did order a singing telegram, didn't you?" For a moment, he pretended to look confused and then set the gifts down on a nearby side table. Standing in front of her, he sang "Happy Birthday" deeper than Marilyn Monroe's but just as huskily.

Happy birth-day...to...yoooou.
Happy....birth-day...to yooou.

As he sang, he turned Cody gently around, bending down to brush his lips against her ear.

Happy birthday...Miss Ambass-ador

His chest pressed against her back, and his hands rubbed down her bare arms.

"Lars is very sweet." Cody shook her head, laughing, until Danny was behind her, and his voice in her ear made her shiver. She made the cultural and historical connection, but she couldn't say anything, because she was so turned on by him against her.

In fact, she wasn't even paying attention to the gifts on the table, just the one behind her, pressed against her back. She somehow guessed he was going to tease and make her wait, but she could tease, too.

"He is. I think he understands." In fact, Danny was sure the Dane's empathy to their situation stemmed from whatever had happened between him and Cody.

"I love you, love this..." Right now, the usually articulate Cody couldn't put into words the way Daniel made her feel. While Hsu always made her feel so empowered, Daniel made her feel treasured and adored. With her hand stroking over his face, she reached up behind her, leaning back into him. "You're so beautiful, Danny."

Cody could feel how hard he was, and how strong. "You can't appear in Tabar, or anywhere, like this...not for anyone else. This side of you? It's special...and its mine." She tipped back to kiss his lips softly.

But, still, it was fun to tease, and to prolong the tension. "Unwrap my present? Okay." With her free hand, she reached between them to stroke over his hard, but confined, cock, lingering over every ridge and the head, then walked forward to the table to pick up the teddy bear. She realized how expensive and rare it was, how it was from their Earth time. He was the only person who would have done this for her, and she snuggled it to her neck with a happy smile. Then she lifted the box edge, and took out a candy, biting it in half, purring at the flavor, before coming over to put the other half in Danny's mouth.

Her eyes dropped to his loincloth, and then to his hand. Holding up the bear, she made a silly voice. "What's in there, big boy? It looks too pretty to unwrap."

Danny smiled against her skin before reaching forward to meet her lips. "I promise, just for you. Only you. You're the only one that I love. You know it's yours, that I'm yours." So different from her other lover, his father, he was content...happy...to have her claim him, to feel that love, where Hsu only demanded the same from her.

He groaned when she ran her hand over him, it doing nothing to ease the discomfort he was feeling down there. Not that he complained. However, he did sigh deeply as she stepped away instead of unwrapping the present. Still, when she hugged the bear, he grinned, happy to see her so happy. He knew she would like it.

He had followed her, keeping close, and his mouth was ready and open for her to pop the half piece of candy in. He chewed on it slowly, enjoying the rich, smooth flavour, his eyes conveying that he would enjoy Cody even more. Raising his eyebrows, and struggling not to laugh at 'the bear's' voice, he grinned again. Though he didn't actually laugh, it was there as he answered. "Well, it's far, far prettier underneath the wrapping. Do you want to see?"

Without waiting for an answer, Danny very slowly pulled the material away, keeping his hand over his genitals until he had got rid of all the loin cloth. Then, watching for her reaction, he ran his own hand down the length of his shaft. "You like?"

Cody's eye closed, but not before she saw the small box on the table, with the bow, that she had not unwrapped, because there were such lovely pleasures to be enjoyed, first. But it made her smile, even as his tongue made her groan softly, her knees shaking from the pent up excitement.

"You're too good at this, Danny...I'm not sure I can stay on my feet." That was a very true statement, because she was trembling with lust and happiness. "God, I love you." His hands moved to her hips to help hold Cody steady as his tongue probed even more intimately. He loved how she trembled, loved knowing it was because of him that she did. But it was those last four words that truly warmed him. Just her soft tone, that it was unbidden brought him so much joy. His heart was hers. It always had been, and he'd waited so long for her to realize the same.

After a little longer, until he thought her legs might really buckle from his attentions, he looked up. "Let me show you just how much I love you." Standing, Danny lifted her up, taking her easily in his strong arms. "And I hope you don't have to be up early, because I'm going to make love to you all night." Before he headed to her bedroom, he stopped at the table and picked up the chocolates and the last, small present

He carried Cody to her bed and set her down so gently. "I'm going to love and worship every inch of you." The chocolates were put aside for now, but he handed her the small present as he bent to kiss her slowly and deeply. When he broke apart from her, Danny smiled. "Open it." Inside were twin rings, one sized for her finger and one for his larger one, but the two rare blue diamonds were set in such a way they slipped together to appear as one larger stone. "We can't wear these as we should, but for me it will mean the same." He took the smaller ring and, looking a little apprehensive that she might object, he slid it onto her right ring finger.

Daniel lifting her made her feel so loved and protected, which was something that she really, really needed, given the time she had been away. It was the one thing that Hsu had erred on, upon her return, and it had cost him some of her unwavering devotion. Of course, she was still loyal and desired him, but he had not seen how much she needed him to make her feel wanted, treasured and protected, not just with his authority and power. Daniel, however, had been filling that need in her, and it was bringing them closer, much closer. Cody was strong, a warrior and a killer, but she was also a bit of a romantic, at heart, enough so that she liked being swept off her feet.

"I don't have to be anywhere, but here, with you." Hungrily, she kissed him back, and was pouting when he broke the kiss. However, there was delight when he gave her the box. As she opened it, Cody gasped, and her free hand went to her throat. Tears filled her eyes, and she just stared as he put the ring on her finger. In return, she slid his ring on the same finger, on his right hand. "With this ring, I will love and cherish you all my life." Cody whispered it, because she was so choked up that she didn't trust her voice. "Oh, Danny...it's so beautiful."

There were happy tears on her cheeks, as she threw her arms around his neck and kissed him, a hard, hot, smoking kiss that should show him her gratitude, love and desire to take his breath away.

He would never have admitted it, but Danny had been nervous, wondering not so much if Cody would like the rings, but that she might not want to wear it because of what he wanted it to mean and that Hsu might see it the same way.

Instead as she slipped his ring on, that in her eyes he could see what these rings meant to her, as well as her words, he smiled widely. He didn't even get a chance to say anything before she kissed him, and it was a kiss hot enough to melt. His arms were around her, and so quickly he was returning her kisses with equal passion. When they finally broke the kiss, Danny was still smiling, looking absolutely blissful to be in her arms. "I'll always love you, and I'll always be here for you to love you."

For a moment, he just laid on the bed beside her, just looking at her with a loving and desiring gaze. Then he reached for the chocolates and took one, offering it to her before he rolled and supported himself above her. "You make me so happy, Cody." He kissed her neck, her chin, and lastly her mouth that still tasted so warm and sweet from the rich chocolate. "I want to show you just how much, and make you feel so good." His fingers entwined with hers, and he slowly pushed himself inside her with ease, as she was still so slick. "I love you."

"I love you, too." Cody bent her leg up, to further support them, and sighed happily as he entered her. This was how she wished they could always be, happy and joined together as one. For a moment, a thought of Hsu came into her head, and she kissed Daniel quickly, pushing the thought out of her mind. It was all so complicated, and everyone had so many feelings that were conflicted and jumbled. But this...this...it was all so simple and clear for her. She loved him, body and soul, and she knew that he loved her without any hesitation at all.

"You always make me feel so good, Danny. Always." Cody ran her hands over his chest, and up his arms, stealing kisses and nips on his lips, moaning softly as he moved inside her. "This is a wonderful birthday, being with you." Cody slid her leg up, rubbing against his side with a low, tight, chuckle of pleasure. She sang, softly, her head back and eyes closed. "Happy birthday toooooo meeee...".
